Snacking is something that is so important! Keeping our bodies fueled properly in between meals is something that some people fail to do. I know it’s easy to get busy and caught up in life, but we still need to be fueling our bodies properly.
After school is such a common snack time for kids and even parents! Kids run into the house and head for the pantry (or snack cabinet.) They normally grab for a pre-packaged toaster pastry or stack of sandwich cookies. While these make amazing desserts, are totally yummy, and are a-okay to eat in moderation. As a daily snack, they aren’t always the best option.
