Movies that bring the Bible to life are such a blessing and help so many people connect with the Bible on a deeper level!
Today, I’m highlighting a movie that brings the book of Luke to life!
Synopsis:
The Gospel of Luke, more than any other, fits the category of ancient biography. Luke, as “narrator” of events, sees Jesus as the “Savior” of all people, always on the side of the needy and the deprived. Narrated in the NIV by British actor Richard E. Grant and in the KJV by Sir Derek Jacobi, this epic production — featuring specially constructed sets and the authentic countryside of Morocco — has been critically acclaimed by leading religious scholars as a unique and highly authentic telling of the Jesus story.
The images and story are depicted beautifully! It’s as if you’re actually there in biblical times! Also, it’s a word-for-word, unedited movie adaption so it’s just like the Bible is coming to life on your TV screen. How cool?!
This movie would be great for a Bible Study class or small group! It will leave you with lots of opportunity to ask open questions and engage with your class/students on an amazing level!
Whether you’re planning on watching this alone or with others, I’m sure this movie will touch your heart in some way, shape, or form. Have a marvelous weekend, friends ❤
