I was sent a variety pack of these decadent delights to try and was pleasantly pleased with the uniqueness and quality.
These caramels are not your usual “hard a rock” or “break your teeth” caramels. These are chewy yet soft and melt in your mouth!
The unique flavors are one of the things that sets this brand apart. Prior to trying these caramels, I didn’t even know that Ginger Fusion or Single Malt Scotch caramels existed! (I’m glad they do, BTW..!)
Another positive aspect of McCrea’s Candies is how genuine and wholesome the ingredients label is. Nothing is unpronounceable or questionable. Which is sadly uncommon in most “candies” you find in today’s world.
These caramels vary in sweetness based upon flavor so there is something for everyone. Whether you like sweet or salty, there is at least a flavor or two you’ll enjoy.
This brand is also striving to minimize their footprint on the environment by making the caramel wrappers biodegradable! YAY!
All in all, a sweet brand with even sweeter products is my decription for McCrea’s Candies! I am so thrilled I got the chance to work with them! I cannot wait to see what new flavors they come up with in the future. I’m hoping for a nut-butter flavor and maybe something white chocolate..? 😉
