Who better to play the queen of soul than Jennifer Hudson?! I have loved her since the beginning of her career and think she is the perfect actress to play Aretha!

As you can see by watching the trailer below, this movie has heart, soul, and some diva moments as well.

Aretha paved the way for so many artists and I am so happy a movie was made in her honor.

You can bet your bottom dollar I’m going to be singing along to this one the whole movie long!
