I’m so thankful for animation. It allows us to escape the stressful world we live in and become a part of a new world where things are a little less serious.
Last year, my family and I went to the theaters to see “The Incredibles 2” and boy did we love it!
I think I even liked it more than the first one! Of course, being made a decade after the original movie, the graphics are even more realistic and stunning!
“Everyone’s favorite family of superheroes is back in “Incredibles 2” – but this time Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is in the spotlight, leaving Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell) and Dash (voice of Huck Milner) to navigate the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life. It’s a tough transistion for everyone, made tougher by the fact that the family is still unaware of baby Jack-Jack’s emerging superpowers. When a new villain hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot, the family and Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) must find a way to work together again—which is easier said than done, even when they’re all Incredible.” (*)
I loved getting to see more of Jack-Jack in this movie as opposed to the first one. Also, Edna is back and better than ever! She’s kinda my spirit animal, haha 😉
No matter is you’re 2 or 102, this movie is for you. I think it teaches a great message of families sticking together and working together as a team. Everyone can take away something positive from this movie.
