Today #ontheblog, we’re highlighting a lovely little Etsy shop called “Wicked Bayou Candles.”
This shop is run by the lovely, Maegan. Maegan makes handmade candles, air fresheners, and much more for sale. She sent me a couple things to review from her shop and I’ve included my thoughts (along with a GIVEAWAY) below 🙂
First off, I was sent the Mason Jar Air Freshener in the “Strawberry Letter” scent.
This looks super unique because it isn’t a solid design; it’s made out of beads! How cool?! When I first heard of the scent “Strawberry Leather” I didn’t know how much I’d like it, but it actually is a nice combo. I was pleasantly surprised!
I’ve had this for a few days and the scent is still very strong, but not too overwhelming! I would totally purchase this as a gift for a co-worker or for that someone who is hard to buy for.
Lastly, we have the “Fireside” candle! This candle smells very fresh, like a crisp winter day. It has hints of pine and sweet sugar cane which rounds it out to a scent pretty much anybody will enjoy. The scent is strong, but not too overwhelming. The perfect scent oil to wax ratio in this one! =)
This shop’s packaging is also super cute! I think it fits the name perfectly! I totally recommend this shop and think it is one to keep an eye on. It has such great potential!
