Christian music is something I couldn’t imagine life without. It restores my soul and fills me up when I’m feeling tired.

 

I’ve heard of Nichole Nordeman before, but honestly have not listened to her music before. I don’t know why, I guess I just never took the time..?

 

Today, I’m featuring her new CD “Every Mile Mattered.”

 

 

I love that I got to go into reviewing this CD with no preconceived ideas about Nichole’s music. I was so impressed!

 

In the world of Christian music she is one of my new favorite “discoveries!” Her music is so lyrical and melodic. It is the kind of music you can relate to or you know someone who can.

 

Her music honors God all the while touching on hard times, the good times, and everything in between. My favorite two songs on the album are “Every Mile Mattered” (lyric video included below) and “Slow Down.”

 

 

Doesn’t that song give you major #feels? Yeah, me too…!

 

Another thing I love about Nichole is she is sharing her wisdom in another aspect; book writing! She has a book titled “Slow Down” that will be released August 22, 2017. This book shares how to embrace motherhood and live in each moment with your little one(s). Feel free to pre-order it here.
