Protein bars are an essential for me. I have one as a snack pretty much everyday; it’s a great way to get in protein and they most likely satisfy my sweet tooth, too!

Today’s post (giveaway included) is featuring a company called Raw Rev. Keep on reading to see what I think about the brand, their products, and a chance to win a box of their Creamy PB And Sea Salt bars. So, be sure to keep on reading for your chance to win!!

 

What’s the story behind the brand?

 

As a Visiting Nurse, Alice Benedetto felt so strongly about nutrition as medicine she found herself challenging her patients to be vegan for a day. This fueled a passion for Alice, as she felt a calling to make a bigger impact on the world with the power of vegan nutrition. As she continued to work, a question in her mind remained: how can I do more?
Raw Rev, eventually, was the answer.

Crafting raw ingredients into delicious foods was Alice’s expertise and with the overwhelming popularity of her snacks from friends and neighbors, she had the idea to start a business. The truth was though, that most of her time and energy was spent on being a single mother and working full-time, making this dream seem impossible. Despite it, Alice didn’t give up and with some brainstorming, she put together a small team from a list of friends, all working to make the Raw Rev vision a reality. Alice sold her house and took the savings between her and her now-husband to found Raw Indulgence Inc, the official business, all with their four kids in tow.

 

Alice is a total #momboss! I love her story of encouraging others to nourish their bodies and take the best care of themselves as possible!

 

 

I was sent a variety box in order to be able to try out a variety of the flavors.

 

 

These bars are all so decadent and rich tasting that they remind me of a dessert bars your mom would make! Their flavors range from Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough to Dark Chocolate Cashew & Mint. They even have a few bars with peanut butter, YUM!

 

 

The reason this line of bars is called “Glo” is because its simple ingredients will make you “glo” from the inside out.

Glo bars are high in protein with lots of fiber and only 2-5 g of sugar per bar!

Always 100% vegan, gluten free, non-GMO and kosher and free from preservatives, soy protein isolates, whey, grains, and sugar alcohols.

When it comes to taste, these bars taste very natural. By that I mean that they don’t taste so processed. You can actually taste the nuts, the chocolate, and the other ingredients in each bar distinctly.

I really appreciate how genuine the company is and how each bar has at least 10g of protein!

 

Needless to say, this brand is not your typical protein bar company. I would love to see them come out with more flavors. Maybe some including cinnamon, white chocolate, or even dried fruit..?!

For now, I’m pleasantly pleased with the brand and their products. And, I’m sure you guys will be, too. 🙂

  3. I would most like to try the Glo Peanut Butter, Dark Chocolate & Sea Salt. I love dark chocolate and peanut butter so this one sounds really good to me.

  4. You had me at chocolate chip cookie dough! Although, really, anything chocolate would be amazing. Makes me feel satisfied… I have a major sweet tooth in the morning. Dark Chocolate is also a favorite of mine!

  12. I would have to go with the chocolate chip cookie dough flavor as the one that I want to try the most. I love that these are Vegan!
