No Gluten? No Problem! Banza Pasta Review {+giveaway}

Every year on my birthday I always go to a restaurant that has a wide variety of pasta.

At home, I have pasta 2-3 times a week.

I just love pasta. Okay?! šŸ˜‰

So, today I’m featuring a brand of pasta called Banza.

Banza’s pasta is made with over 90% chickpeas! It isĀ pasta 2.0. Ditch the empty carbs in wheat noodles, and treat yourself to double the protein, four times the fiber, and nearly half the net carbs.

Chickpeas are a secret superfood – they’re naturally gluten free, low on the glycemic index, and ours are certified non-GMO. It’s ideal for every set of taste buds at your dinner party. Pretty impressive stuff beyond all that protein!

I was sent their 6-Pack Variety Case of pasta!Ā This caseĀ contains six boxes: two boxes each of rotini and shells; one box each of penne and elbows.

I have tried other “non flour based” pastas in the past and really did like them. They did have a “gummy” texture to them, and I could really tell it wasn’t the typical pasta I was used to.

This brand really surprised me with the fact that it doesn’t contain those qualities. It does need to be cooked a couple minutes longer than regular flour based pasta, but once fully cooked, it tastes amazing!

I made a batch of this pasta with some homemade tomato sauce and it was so yummy!

The look and texture are SO similar to that of classic pasta itself. So, if you’re looking for a way to get in more protein, a gluten free pasta, or just want to try something different, you really should check out Banza!

They even make boxes of Mac And Cheese pasta, too! There really is something for the whole family!

I was so delighted with this brand and am so thankful for the opportunity to have worked with them!

  1. I have tried this pasta before and enjoyed it a lot. šŸ™‚ I would like to try the rotini this time, to pair with my lentil bolognese sauce. Thanks!
