51 Things To Make With Egg Cartons -(giveaway!)

Summer is in the air and that means summer break for millions of school kids. This also means parents trying to find fun things for their kids to do to keep them occupied.

It’s so easy to shove a screen in a kids’ face and occupy them for hours on end that way, but it isn’t always the best decision.

The brain is a muscle and it needs to be worked! Getting your kids to read textbooks for fun while on summer break is kind of a long shot. But, getting them to partake in fun, creative, crafts isn’t.

I love crafts and being creative; I’m just not great at coming up with the ideas for the actual craft myself. That’s where books, like this one from Fiona Hayes, come in handy.

In this book Fiona shares 51 fun things you can make with something we all have; egg cartons. I’ve included some of my favorite ideas featured in the book below, but that’s just the tip of the egg shell.

  • Hedgehog
  • Dragon
  • Dump Truck
  • Sheep
  • Fire Engine
  • Bracelet
  • Octopus
  • Caterpillar Pencil Holder
  • Flower Wreath
  • Kangaroo

This book has so many great ideas; some are even wearable! Your toddlers and teenagers will have a blast with these egg-cellent crafts. Haha!

  1. I love crafting with my kids! I’m also physically unable to get myself to throw out empty egg cartons so we have a stockpile and this is perfect!
