Recipe posts are one of my favorite posts to share with you guys. I love food, baking food, and sharing food with my friends and family. I know I cannot give you guys a batch of cookies via the internet, but I can give you the next best thing, a recipe!
Today’s recipe is for 30 Minute Apple Pie Crescent Rolls. This recipe is something I made up and my whole family ended up loving. They’re super easy to make; so even if you’re not an expert baker, you can make these bad boys with ease.
Check out the recipe below ⇓
30 Minute Apple Pie Croissants
Ingredients:
1 8oz container of refrigerated crescent roll dough
1 21 oz can of apple pie filling
3/4 cup of powdered sugar
2 tbsp of butter
1 tsp of vanilla extract
1 tbsp of water
A dash of cinnamon
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350F
Start by separating the crescent roll dough into individual sections.
Add one big tablespoon of apple pie filling to the center of the crescent roll dough.
Fold each end of the dough over the other; similar to a pretzel.
Place rolls on an ungreased, non stick cookie/baking sheet and bake for 13-15 minutes or until golden brown on top.
To make the cinnamon drizzle sauce that goes on top of the rolls, start by combining the powdered sugar, butter, vanilla extract, and cinnamon in a pan. Cook on low heat until the butter is melted and mix with spoon to make sure all ingredients are well combined.
To make the sauce less thick (if desired) add one tablespoon of water.
After the rolls are done, remove them from the oven and let them cool for 10 minutes.
Lastly, take a spoon and drizzle the sauce over top of the rolls. This will give them a little bit of a apple turnover taste.
That’s it! These taste amazing and can be paired with quite a few things. Think of hot coffee in the morning; vanilla ice cream on the side; or even whipped cream! I hope you guys enjoy this recipe. Don’t forget to “pin” it for later!
