I hope you guys had a good week. I spent most of it studying (and finishing!) biology and freaking out over fall finally being here!! Que the pumpkin spice everything from now until December 😉

Okay, enough will my my rambling. Onto the Friday Favorites…

 

Etsy Shirts

If you read my Get To Know Me post, you’d know that I love the song ‘Free Fallin” by John Mayer. I’ve been eyeing this shirt for a while and finally decided to treat myself and buy it. You guys. How flippin’ cute is this? The shop was sold out of my size, but the seller was so sweet and made me a custom shirt! I will be wearing this super often this fall. #love

 

Autumn Candles

Yes, I’m still a candle addict. I recently went to Kohl’s and ran across their candle aisle – not a good idea for me at all… I left with three candles and may or may not go back for more before the fall season’s over.

Also, my grandma was so sweet and ordered me some candles from QVC. These candles are from Ellen DeGeneres’ “ED On Air” collection, exclusively at QVC. I burn one whenever I’m in my office/school room, which makes it always smell like a yummy bakery! I like to think it helps me be more “productive.” 😉

 

The Voice

I usually don’t watch live TV. Mainly because I have a hard time carving out an hour or two to sit down and watch a show. Also, I cannot pause it or skip one of 502594804 commercials. Any-who-doodle, I’ve watched some of the episodes that’s been on so far and have enjoyed them! I like The Voice, but I don’t love it. I’m only watching this season to see how Miley Cyrus does as a judge; and so far I think she’s pretty great. If I had to choose a judge on the voice I’d probably choose her or Blake. We’ll see if I stick with the whole season (probably not knowing me, ha.)

 

Music

I love music and have found some pretty good songs recently. My top 2 are listed below ↓

 

 

Crowder’s voice is awesome! I love the raspy tone and am becoming quite the fan of his. This song is a great reminder that Jesus already won the war when He died for our sins on the cross. As the song says, “The cross meant to kill, is my victory.”

 

 

I love Alessia Cara and Troye Sivan. So, when they made a song together, I was super excited!! This is a happy, medium tempo song that always makes me smile (even on a Monday.)

 

That’s all for this Friday! I’m off to get ready to go out to dinner with the fam. We’re celebrating my grandma’s birthday a day late and there may be cake. Just sayin’ 😛

  9. this was funny because I had “Free Fallin” stuck in my head earlier today! I do watch the Voice. We are a little surprised that Miley is doing well! We like Alicia too..she reminds us of a female Pharrell. I don’t know which team..prob Blake also.
