Hi friends!

I bet you didn’t know that September is National Breakfast Month! So, in honor of the month long celebration, I’m celebrating with a yummy egg scramble recipe featuring Pete And Gerry’s Eggs. Be sure to keep reading to see how you could win 2 free dozens of P&G eggs!

Home Style Egg Scramble

Ingredients:

5 pete and gerry’s eggs (or any eggs you have)

1/4 cup of chopped onion

1/2 cup of chopped tomatoes

1/2 cup of green bell pepper

1/2 to 3/4 cup of shaved deli ham

salt and pepper

shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

 

 

Instructions:

Crack 5 eggs into a bowl and beat with a fork or whisk until all eggs are blended. Then mix in your chopped tomato, onion, green bell pepper and ham. I also added a little salt and pepper for extra flavor.

*You may want to chop up your shaved ham so it’s not in huge chunks*

Spray a skillet with non-stick cooking spray and pour mixture into the pan on medium heat.

Once the eggs start to stick to the bottom of the pan take a spoon or fork and lightly mix the ingredients. Keep doing this every 30 seconds or so for 2-5 minutes and your eggs should start to become fluffy.

Once your eggs are done to your liking remove pan from heat and serve your eggs.

Lastly, you could add some shredded cheddar cheese on top of the scramble for extra yummy-ness. I did and it was a huge hit!

These eggs are certified organic and hormone free. They’re also cage free, certified humane, and all their eggs come from small-family farms. These are some of the main quality’s I look for in an egg company. Pete and Gerry’s hens are free to roam and enjoy their life of being birds. These eggs are super flavorful; my whole family loved them!
