Happy Friday! I hope you all have had a good week thus far. As you know, I love sharing my Friday Favorite’s with you guys. I think this link-up is so fun, and I always find new things to check out 🙂 So let’s jump in —->

Ashland “Salted Caramel” Candle

Candles are a default gift for me and I’m sure many others. They’re so relaxing to watch burn and make your room smell super yummy! I love most scents, but have a soft spot in my heart for sugary/sweet scents. So, when I got this “Salted Caramel” candle as a gift, I freaked out. I love it so much, my Grandma even got me a back up. She said she got these candles from Michaels Craft Store, but I couldn’t find this specific scent on their website. Honestly, this scent is very duplicable, so you could get any salted caramel candle and it would be super similar 😉

Forever 21 Purse

I bought this purse on my birthday a few weeks ago. I saw it sitting all by itself near the check out and I had to get it! I love how it’s plenty big, but not like a suitcase big. Also, the strap can be adjusted too, which I love. I typically get a new purse about once a year. I’m not sure why, but I go through purses quite often, haha. I tried to find this exact purse on F21’s website, but couldn’t. However, I did find one sorta similar here.

 

GUM!!!!

I am not going to lie, I may have a slight gum addiction…. In my defense I did go without gum for almost 3 years due to braces, so I need to get reacquainted with my old friend 😉 This flavor is SO good! It’s Bubble-Mint by Orbit. It’s amazing, not too minty or too sweet, just right. It’s always sold out at my drugstore, so whenever I find it, I stock up. I even turned my family onto it as well. Now were all gum lovers!

Music

Lately I have been finding such amazing music to listen to! I literally could list 10+ songs. But, I digress and have chosen 2 instead.

Let it go – James Bay

I typically only like a few songs off an album. However, recently I’ve been loving James Bay’s whole album. His voice reminds me of Ed Sheeran and John Mayer (two artists I love). “Let it go” is such a gorgeous song with even more beautiful lyrics. No matter what kind of music you like, I’m 99% sure you’ll like his music.

Do you wanna be happy? – Kirk Franklin

I loved this song the first time I heard Kirk perform it on the Dove Awards. That performance made me feel like I was IN church. The lyrics are so true. “Don’t get stuck in how you feel. Say, ‘Jesus take the wheel,’ the love you need he already gave…” Those words always resonate with me every time I hear them. It reminds me that I need to trust God. He knows which people do and don’t need to be in my life. He knows what’s best for me. I just need to be patient and trust in Him.

Shameless plug. I know, I know… I recently made an IG (@graceful_coffee) just for my blog and love posting on it. I’m a total photography lover. I could spend hours and hours editing pictures, so I share some of my favorites on that platform.Yes, I did take this screen shot before I updated the IG app. What do you guys think of the update? I kinda like the all “white and black theme,” but kinda preferred the original icon. Oh well, as long as I can share pics that’s all that matters right?!

 

That’s all my favorites this week! It’s finally starting to feel like spring where I live so I’m super pumped for spending more time on the deck outside. Gotta get that Vitamin D 😉 Happy weekend <333

  1. That candle sounds awesome! I’ve been burning a bath & body works Endless Weekend candle lately. Love it!

    I tend to dislike change, but so far I don’t hate the new Instagram look. I didn’t think it needed a change, but I get that they have to keep it trendy looking.

    • Candles are one of my weaknesses, I have like 10 I haven’t even burned yet 😉 IG is one of my favorite social media outlets too. I love seeing everyone’s pictures 🙂

  18. Wow your instagram is on point! I think that a black and white theme would look amazing although I can honestly never stick to just one theme haha. The candle looks amazing btw, I have never seen a salted caramel one! xx
