Hey Guys! Happy Hump-day! Am I the only one who loves that commercial? I hope not 😉 Anyways, today I’m coming at you with a post that I hope will brighten up your day/night. If you’re a follower of my blog you most likely know that I’m a Christian. I don’t talk about my faith in every post, because I want my blog to have diversity. Also, I know that not everyone is a Christian. But, every once in a while I will do posts like this based on my faith. My faith is a very important part of my life, as I strive to exalt Christ in all that I do. So, hopefully you’ll enjoy this post. If not, I’ll have a different post up later in the week 🙂
These are some scriptures that I find super encouraging and hopefully you will too! I know that by Wednesday the week can seem like it’s dragging on and on. So these verses hopefully will encourage you to get to the weekend.
Isaiah 41:10 (NKJV):
“Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”
John 14:27 (NKJV):
“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV):
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
Psalm 46:1-3 (NKJV):
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear,
even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
though its waters roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with its swelling.
Psalm 16:8 (NKJV):
I have set the Lord always before me; because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved.
Hopefully you enjoyed this quick little post! If you did, please let me know in the comments and I’ll do more in the future. Hope you all have a great rest of your week and have a happy Mother’s Day (if your country celebrates). ❤
Question time:
What is a scripture that you find encouraging?

Edye – Great Scripture choices. Let’s see I have so many favorites – but 2 of my life verses are: Romans 8:15 & Ephesians 3:20 … Favorite book of the Bible – again a tough one…. hmmm again a tough one – I love them all but if i had to choose only one, it would be — Psalms I suppose – so much encouragement and authenticity in all the chapters. This is a lovely compilation of encouraging scriptures, Edye. I particularly like those you chose from John and Timothy. One of my favourite pieces of encouraging scripture is Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.” Thank you so much for sharing this encouraging post with us at the Hearth and Soul Hop. I hope you will share with us again this week!
